Here at the British Hobby Horse Competition Club we have a different height class for everybody, From beginner to advanced!
We will be running regular hobby horse competitions across the north east of england with qualifying classes for championship shows , held at prestigious venues.
We will give you the chance to win a trophies and also amazing sashes!! Not to forget memories that will last a lifetime on your dream hobby horse..

Our shows are all ran with a digital timer that is viewable by all to avoid any disagreements and give every competitor the same chance.
£10 per class. £5 discount on total entry fee if 3 or more classes entered.
Pre-entries only, although it may be possible to enter additional classes on the day subject to availability. Please see the steward on the day to confirm.
IMPORTANT – Please be aware that whilst every effort will be made to ensure the safety of the competitors, The British Hobby Horse Club is not responsible for any injury sustained, It is the responsibility of the payee to ensure that the competitor is capable of jumping the height of the jumps.
All competitors (or their guardians if under 18 years of age) will be asked to sign a disclaimer before taking part.
We are delighted to announce that all of our shows will give children the opportunity to compete at our championship show held at the amazing Picton show in Yarm on 20th July
We have been given exclusivity for this show and we are delighted to be able to take part in helping this show continue in its 73rd year. It goes without saying that we will have Championship trophies to win and sashes.
